We’re excited to announce that the next chapter of Renovate Robotics will unfold in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. With a history of over 200 years, the Brooklyn Navy Yard has played a pivotal role in shaping American history. From its origins as a naval shipyard in the early 1800s to its current status as New York’s premier hub for hardware and manufacturing innovation, Renovate Robotics will fit right in.

Our new home will encompass a 3,000 square foot manufacturing and R&D facility in the heart of the Navy Yard, allowing us to grow our headcount to up to 25 engineers and staff. This facility will also be the site of an indoor roof that will serve as a stepping stone to test and improve prototypes.

As a Navy Yard resident, Renovate will also have access to Newlab’s R&D facilities and community events. Newlab, a deep tech innovation center also located in the Navy Yard, was an investor in Renovate Robotics’ pre-seed funding round. Newlab is home to more than 250 deep tech startups and over 1,000 entrepreneurs, inventors, investors, and optimists working together to address critical challenges in energy, mobility, and materials.
